I have been married for 25 years, and have two girls. One is 24 and the youngest is 22, Both in College. We are from Burton, Michigan and do a lot of business in the surrounding areas.
I started making candles about 5yrs ago, I wanted a safe and very fragrant candle but not have the headaches. I was tired of candles not burning right or not having any scent after just an inch down the candle. So one day started researching waxes I would like to use, and come across soy and other natural waxes, I really liked the info on soy. I started contacting other candle companies and asking questions about things they have learned along the way, thought that might help me not make as many mistakes and it helped, when I finally made my first candle 6 months later they turned out great with nice smooth tops and lots of scent. I have lots of family support. I also helped my sister get started and on her way with her candle business things are working great for her.
We currently do craft shows, flea markets, farmer market, fundraisers and home parties with our candles; we enjoy working with all of our customers and thank everyone for all there support and loyalty.
